M&R Printing Equipment and Nazdar Announce Partnership
The companies have reached an exclusive development and OEM supplier agreement for M&R's DTG and DTF printer inks
M&R Printing Equipment, a North American manufacturer of printed apparel decorating equipment, and Nazdar Ink Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of aqueous, UV cureable, and solvent-based inkjet inks and fluids, announce an exclusive development and OEM supplier agreement for M&R’s POLARIS high speed industrial direct-to-garment (DTG) printing system, and QUATRO direct-to-film (DTF) transfer printer.
Under the agreement, M&R and Nazdar are expanding an existing relationship that began several years ago with the joint development of the high-performance SAPPHIRE Inks used on the Polaris DTG printing system to include an ink set for M&R’s recently released QUATRO DTF transfer printer.
Additionally, M&R has executed an OEM supplier and global logistics agreement to ensure an uninterrupted supply of these inkjet products for M&R customers and dealer partners.
”While these types of OEM supplier relationships are very rarely made public, we felt that our customers would benefit from knowing that M&R was combining our 38 years of experience in the design and manufacture of high-performance printed apparel decorating equipment, with Nazdar’s more than 100 years of experience in the development of specialty inks and coatings for textile, graphic and industrial applications,” says Danny Sweem, M&R CEO.
Richard Bowles, Nazdar company president and CEO remarks, “We are proud to work with our partner, M&R, to develop and deliver inks for their industry-leading equipment. The long-standing relationship between our two companies has been the foundation for our successful innovation of the Polaris and Quatro digital apparel inks. Presenting the Nazdar Ink Technologies brand next to M&R’s is an exciting step forward to instill confidence in the customer through our shared dedication to high-quality standards. We look forward to partnering with M&R to develop solutions to meet the future needs of the digital inkjet apparel market and facilitate even greater performance and productivity going forward.”
