The Cleveland-based distributor’s expanded core product lines include retail and beverage packaging, wide-format equipment, graphics, specialty media, shipping and mailing supplies, and now Ricoh DTG equipment and supplies.
“Garment decorating is one of the fastest-growing segments of the print industry with digital textile printing, in particular, exceeding $35 billion in global sales each year,” says Travis Mlakar, Millcraft’s president/CEO. “Clearly, this represents a huge avenue for growth for existing and new Millcraft customers. Our commitment to DTG and our relationship with Ricoh help position Millcraft in this dynamic space so that we can assist our customers as they continue to pivot and grow their business.”
Millcraft has built a DTG team of experts with years of experience operating and selling a full range of DTG printers and equipment. They are ready to consult large and small apparel decorators on how best to position their business for enhanced efficiency and profitability.
“As the growth rate of DTG and the print-on-demand market continue to expand, we are excited that Millcraft customers will now be able to take advantage of this emerging print technology and diversify their business capabilities. DTG printing is a segment that Millcraft has been looking at for several years, and we are committed to offering a level of service, logistics, market knowledge, and staff expertise that sets us apart from other dealers,” adds Greg Lovensheimer, Millcraft COO.
Eric Deem leads Millcraft’s new DTG specialty division as garment and textile print sales manager and brings more than 10 years of industry operational, sales, and consulting experience to the position, including owning his own custom garment retail shop and working for one of the largest DTG print shops in the country.
“It’s been exciting to watch the industry expand so rapidly from humble beginnings with DIY-built printers to where it is today,” says Deem. “We couldn’t be prouder to have the opportunity to offer this cutting-edge product line to our customers.”
Courtney Enser, Millcraft VP of sales, adds, “Eric and our DTG team are not just here to sell equipment. They are here to help our customers uncover and unlock new opportunities to help them grow and be more profitable.”
