Lynka, a Poland-based supplier of decorated apparel and accessories, announces it has received Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification for both its decoration techniques and products.

Lynka manufactures, decorates, and distributes corporate clothing, casual retail fashion, sportswear, and accessories.  As of 2021, the company offers a full range of print-on-demand services and logistics support. Founded in 1992 in Kraków, Poland, Lynka services clients in 32 countries from its 108,000-square-foot facility.

Lynka is one of a few WRAP-certified apparel manufacturing companies in Europe. In 2021, Lynka received its seventh consecutive Gold Wrap certificate. Additionally, the company is a signatory member of the United Nations Global Compact on corporate sustainability.

GOTS is a worldwide textile processing standard for organic fibers, backed up by independent certification for the entire textile supply chain. The certification covers post-harvest processing (including spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing, and manufacturing) of apparel and home textiles made with certified organic fiber and includes both environmental and social criteria.

The GOTS recognition, awarded by auditing body Control Union, indicates Lynka meets requirements as outlined by industry standards and provides printing and embroidery solutions that are also now certified organic. Other criteria the Lynka factory meets to be GOTS positively verified include cleanliness, machinery type, and work environment.
