A4, Canon, General Formulations, Polyprint, and Thermopatch announce personnel changes
A4, a California-based manufacturer and distributor of team uniforms and practice gear, promotes Jeff Noser to vice president of sales. He is responsible for managing and developing the A4 sales team.
Noser has been with A4 for five years and has a long history in the team sports industry. He was director of sales for the Western region at Russell Brands for eight years and the VP of sales at Rawlings for 10 years.
“Jeff has been an integral part of our growth and success, and we are thrilled to promote him to this important position,” says Mark Mertens, president of A4.
Canon Solutions America Inc., a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A. Inc., announces new executive promotions.
Christopher Petro moves to vice president of production print solutions strategic accounts, responsible for building and leading the national sales and support team for Canon Solutions America’s production print solutions division. Petro also focuses on the division’s top accounts and prospects and contributes to the division’s combined equipment and recurring revenue.
Mark Waugh moves to vice president of production print solutions sales, responsible for managing all regional sales activities in the U.S. for the division, including all roll-fed and sheet-fed inkjet products, workflow solutions, and associated services.
General Formulations, a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive films, welcomes David “Doc” Clampitt as its new Southeast regional sales manager. Working under the guidance of the VP of sales Scott Spagnolli, Clampitt manages all sales activities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi.
Before joining General Formulations, Clampitt held various positions within the industry, including Florida Graphics Supply Inc. and Mac Papers. While at these companies, he served as general manager and purchasing manager of wide-format and graphics, respectively.
“Doc’s industry knowledge, relationships, and extensive background working with key printers and our products will be a huge asset for General Formulations,” says Spagnolli. “We are extremely excited to have Doc in his new role and part of the GF Team.”
Polyprint, a direct-to-garment printer manufacturer, appoints Fernando A. Tissnes as general manager of its subsidiary, Polyprint USA.
Tissnes comes to the role with a background in business development and project management and over 20 years of experience developing deal distribution channels. He has served in senior positions at Kornit Digital, Seiko Instruments, Océ-USA, and more.
“I am dedicated to improving Polyprint USA’s distribution network through the country and creating strong relationships with our prospective partners and customers,” says Tissnes. “Aiming to increasing Polyprint’s global footprint and generating an even closer bond with its US customer base, I am convinced that the local supply chain of Polyprint products will reinforce apparel decorators and help them grow.”
Thermopatch welcomes Austin Franzen as its regional sales manager for the Western states. Franzen is responsible for account management and new business development of Thermopatch’s line of textile labeling equipment and supplies, as well as Deco-Print, Thermopatch’s s line for branding and textile decorating.
He comes to the role with 15-plus years of experience in sales, management, and marketing. Franzen reports to the company’s manager of sales and marketing, John Paleczny.
