Cap America, a headwear manufacturer, promotes Cory Cissell to vice president of marketing. According to the company, Cissell recently transitioned from the director of sales to the director of marketing to fill the leadership role in that department.

As the VP of marketing, Cissell oversees product development, graphic design, and content creation. He manages the promotion of brand awareness and implementation of marketing strategies and works closely with the executive leadership team to help facilitate company growth.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), an ecology and social responsibility association, appoints Travis Wells as protection officer in North America. According to the company, Wells identifies and advises companies making unsubstantiated claims regarding GOTS signage.

As a sustainable supply chain director, Wells has more than 20 years of experience advising fashion and apparel-related businesses on sustainable sourcing, product development, and manufacturing in domestic and global markets.

Lori Wyman, the GOTS representative in North America, states, “I’m looking forward to having a Protection Officer here in North America to help level the playing field for the many companies who have done their due diligence in achieving GOTS certification to back up their organic label claims”.

Nazdar, an ink manufacturer and distributor, and Thrall Enterprises, parent company to Nazdar, expand their ink and fluid solutions supply teams with the appointments of Richard Bowles, Jeff Thrall, and Dan Potts.

Originally Nazdar’s president, Richard Bowles is promoted to the additional role of chief executive officer. While being president, Bowles has played a large role in the growth of the business. Having been with Nazdar for more than 19 years, he brings over 36 years of experience to the role.

Bowles’s appointment coincides with the announcement that Jeff Thrall will step down as president and chief executive officer of Thrall Enterprises (TEI) to become executive chairman. Thrall has been with the company for over 40 years and is said to have played a key role in its success.

Dan Potts takes up the combined role of president and chief executive officer at TEI and works with both Thrall and Bowles to oversee long-term growth plans across the wider business. Potts joined TEI in May 2015 as chief financial officer and, in January 2020, was elevated to his most recent, expanded position of executive vice president and chief operating officer.

S-One, the parent company of subsidiaries LexJetBrand Management Group (BMG), and  S-One Labels & Packaging, welcomes Timothy Mitchell as senior director of print technology.

With over 30 years of experience, Mitchell is no stranger to the digital printing world, having been the face of HP Latex printers for the last decade. In the role, Mitchell will develop complete application solutions and grow client educational resources.

“Timothy has been a key influencer in the digital printing community for 30 years. His industry knowledge, hands-on experience evaluating media and hardware, and no-nonsense approach perfectly fit our culture,” says Terry Lynn Belzer, chief marketing and product officer for S-One. “He brings next-level opportunities to help our customers solve technical problems.
