Laminators Inc. Adds to Architectural Technical Support Team

Both men will be heavily involved involved with various aspects of projects that are in the construction phase.

lukac_2Hatfield, Pennsylvania-based Laminators Inc., makers of sign panel products and architectural systems, announces the hiring of two new members of architectural support team: Michael Lukac, its new construction services department manager, and Chris Schmidt, its new architectural project manager.

Lukac comes to Laminators Inc. with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the architecture industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Philadelphia University, and has spent the last 13 years working for luxury home builder Toll Brothers Inc. In his new role, Lukac will oversee and coordinate a wide array of inter-related tasks within the construction services department and interactions with a variety of the company’s other departments. As manager, he’ll be responsible for scheduling, logistics management, resource allocation management, contract management, and process improvement.

schmidtSchmidt comes to Laminators Inc. with a background in aluminum composite material project management, with his most recent position being at Douglass Colony Group as an aluminum composite material panel designer. As architectural project manager, he’ll perform a wide array of tasks such as producing shop drawings; interfacing with installer-supplied, as-built field measurements; producing fabrication drawings; managing the construction side of fabrication projects; performing material takeoffs support; and providing sales support relative to fabricated ACM products.

Lukac and Schmidt are both based at company headquarters in Hatfield and both will report directly to Laminators’ director of technical services, Christopher Bucci.
