Koozie Group releases fifth-annual ‘Keep It. Give It.’ report

The annual report includes yearly highlights & goals from the company's Keep It. Give It. program.

Koozie Group recently shared its fifth-annual Keep It. Give It. Social Impact and Sustainability Report, marking another year of strides toward its goals.

Launched in 2020, Koozie Group’s Keep It. Give It. program centers around three key pillars: empowering people, environmental stewardship, and safety and social responsibility.

“This annual report reflects not just milestones, but the heartbeat of our company culture, and 2024 was one of our most impactful years yet,” stated the company in a blog post.

2024 highlights

Koozie Group is celebrating several major achievements made possible by the hard work of its team, including:

  • Eight of its top-selling pens were certified carbon-neutral through third-party standards.
  • It earned the EcoVadis Committed Badge, recognizing its continued dedication to sustainability.
  • Workers’ comp claims dropped by 50%, thanks to enhanced safety initiatives.
  • It updated its supplier agreement to include strict Code of Conduct benchmarks, with 89% compliance already in place.
  • Donated over $286,000 in cash and product to local and national nonprofit organizations.
  • Celebrated its first service dog graduate from our sponsored litter with 4 Paws for Ability.
  • Raised more than $25,000 from its writing instrument giveback program and distributed 2,000 backpacks with 26,000 school supplies to United Way chapters in Minnesota and Florida.

Looking ahead: 2025 & beyond

Koozie Group stated that it has set bold, future-focused goals to expand its impact in the coming years, including:

In 2025:

  • Deepen support of United Way and 4 Paws for Ability, including the sponsorship of a new litter of puppies.
  • Launch an annual employee engagement survey to build a workplace where people feel heard and valued.
  • Complete a comprehensive SMETA 4-pillar audit across its U.S. facilities, assessing labor practices, environmental responsibility, ethics, and safety.

By 2027:

  • Achieve an EcoVadis silver medal.
  • Grow its goingreen product line to represent at least 50% of its entire portfolio.
  • Calculate and publish the carbon footprint for every product it offers.
