Ross Silverstein announces his retirement as Lori Bauer is promoted to CEO
Ross Silverstein, iPROMOTEu president and CEO, announces he will retire from the company on Jan. 31, 2024. Silverstein founded iPROMOTEu in 1999 and has served as the company’s leader for the last 24 years. Lori Bauer, iPROMOTEu senior vice president of affiliate sales and support, will succeed Silverstein as CEO after his departure.
“iPROMOTEu started as nothing but an idea, and it has evolved into one of the largest and most successful distributor organizations in the industry,” says Silverstein. “Presently, iPROMOTEu is in the strongest and best condition in its 24-year history. This is a melancholy moment for me, but the time is right to make this transition, for me and for the company.”
Throughout his tenure at iPROMOTEu, Silverstein has been a prominent figure in the promotional products industry. He was the recipient of the Distributor Entrepreneur of the Year Award from ASI and Counselor magazine in 2005 and he was named to the ASI/Counselor Power 50 every year since the list’s inception in 2006, most recently at No. 15. Under his leadership, iPROMOTEu earned numerous accolades and landed the No. 13 spot on the inaugural PPAI 100 List in 2023.
“Ross has led iPROMOTEu through remarkable growth and he will be greatly missed,” states Bauer. “The extraordinary iPROMOTEu community is a testament to his vision, work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit. Ross is a great leader who has always been invested in setting up his team and iPROMOTEu’s Affiliates for tremendous success. I sincerely appreciate the trust and confidence he has in me to lead iPROMOTEu into the future.”
Bauer joined iPROMOTEu in April 2021 and, since then, she has introduced new and enhanced initiatives to further strengthen the development and growth of the iPROMOTEu affiliate network. A long-time industry veteran, Bauer has earned numerous industry honors and awards including being named ASI’s 2019 Supplier Woman of Distinction. She was also recently appointed to the PPAI board of directors.
