iBASE and Acer Partner On Digital Signage Management Tools
The companies say that combining their technologies solves a growing need in the digital signage world for better content control.
Taiwan-based iBASE, an industrial computer and digital signage player manufacturer, announces that it is partnering with San Jose, California-based Acer Cloud Technology top deliver Acer’s “Being Device Management” technology. The company says the pairing is meant to address what it calls the growing need for device management in Internet of Things (IoT) integrated systems.
According to the two companies, the synergy of iBASE digital signage players with Acer Cloud Technology’s software device management platform provide users and signage vendors with cost savings, stability and efficiency of performance through automatic software provisioning, remote hardware monitoring, and remote troubleshooting in digital signage applications.
“By bundling Acer’s Being Device Management, we can offer fully integrated solutions that centralize the control and management of systems to improve operation efficiency and deal with ongoing costs associated with operating a digital signage network,” says Archer Chien, director of solution product planning at iBASE.
