GoVision Appoints Trio of Executives to Board of Directors
Shannon, Huttinger, and Deimund will help guide continued growth for the experiential services provider
GoVision LLC, a provider of large-scale LED video displays, announces the appointment of three prominent executives to its board of directors:
- Matt Deimund, chief transformation officer, Varsity Spirit
- Chuck Huttinger, co-founder/CEO, GFX International Inc.
- Stephen Shannon, founder/CEO, Colo Development Partners
Matt Deimund joined Varsity Spirit in February 2022 in the role of chief transformation officer, which includes leading the Varsity Performing Arts business unit consisting of top marching band brands Stanbury, DSI, and SA Feather. Deimund also oversees Varsity’s retail and direct-to-consumer business units (event-based retail, e-commerce and team store channels), corporate partnerships, and digital and corporate strategy functions.
Chuck Huttinger led GFX International from its founding as a general service screen printer to its position today as a leader in developing and supplying in-store marketing services, branded environments, and logistics for the retail, restaurant, and hospitality markets. He sold GFX in 2018 to Oak Hill Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in New York, and has since invested in six start-up businesses in various industries including health-care technology, experiential marketing, technology marketing to retail, data analytics, and GoVision.
Stephen Shannon has actively worked in various aspects of real estate, private investment, and financial advisory industries for the past 23 years. He currently serves as founder and CEO of Colo Development Partners, a commercial real estate investment and development business; Denton Capital Management, a private equity and direct investment company; and Panteles Advisors, a registered investment advisor serving the financial needs of a select number of wealthy families. Prior to his current endeavors, Shannon served as an executive officer for Denkmann Interests, an eighth-generation family office.
“Matt, Chuck, and Stephen each bring invaluable talents and expertise to our leadership team, and we’re incredibly fortunate that they have agreed to join our board,” says GoVision Founder and Chairman Chris Curtis. “Kevin and I intend to draw liberally on their financial, operations, and entrepreneurial backgrounds as we continue to expand our leadership position in the hyper-competitive live-event industry.”
Curtis and GoVision CEO and Partner Kevin Faciane are the other two members of the company’s board.
