General Formulations Appoints Director of Marketing Communications

General Formulations, a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive media, film, and laminates, announces the appointment of Michelle LaPreze as director of marketing communications.

LaPreze brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, having advanced skills in all facets of marketing communications, including building brand identity, leading marketing strategy, developing media relations, and creating award-winning design.

Before joining General Formulations, LaPreze held a series of leadership positions at renowned organizations such as BISSELL Homecare, Boy Scouts of America, McEnearney Associates, and Capital Coating Concepts in Washington, DC. During her 11-year tenure at BISSELL, she served as creative marketing manager, where she built and oversaw the company’s in-house creative agency.

In this capacity, she led a team of talented graphic designers and copywriters while overseeing the brand and all digital and print materials. LaPreze played a pivotal role in collaborating with both internal and external marketing agencies on creative concepts to support product launches and corporate initiatives on a global scale. She was also instrumental in the establishment of the BISSELL Pet Foundation and connecting the heart of the organization’s mission through powerful storytelling.

In her new role at General Formulations, LaPreze will assume the responsibility of spearheading the
company’s global marketing communications and brand strategy. Additionally, she will be at the helm of
building a robust marketing communications team, ensuring the company’s continued growth and success in
the industry.
