Featured Project: Intermedia Touch Installs Interactive Video Wall for Miami Hospital
Intermedia Touch's products such as interactive video walls are used more and more across a wide variety of industries.
Miami-based Intermedia Touch, a high-tech integrator of digital signage and interactive digital directories, created a state-of-the-art interactive video wall for the Miami Children’s Hospital’s Global Telemedicine Command Center.
The wall allows doctors to conference with other health care professionals from around the world through the wall’s geo-mapping capabilities. It also provides access for employees, patients and visitors to access social media, news feeds and have real-time weather updates.
Intermedia Touch’s wall consists of 12 55″ LCD monitors tiled together with full HD resolution and 5.5mm bezels. The wall, which uses the company’s TileMatrix technology, was designed with energy consumption in mind because its monitors are ENERGY STAR 5.1 rated. Using direct LED backlighting further reduces energy consumption.
