The town of Florence, Oregon, is about 60 miles due west of Eugene, right along the coast, and it appears to be an idyllic spot for vacationers seeking the beauty of the Oregon coastline and the wonders of the Pacific ocean. The area sports tons of hiking trails, a restored 19th-century lighthouse and even sea lion caves. It’s also the home of Florence Sign Shop, which opened in 2013. Because of its location the shop does a little bit of everything, including installing this warning sign in a rocky area along the coast. From the company’s Facebook page: “This one was a bit perilous. We had to time the installation with the tides and replace an old “Keep Off” sign near Heceta Head. New sign is all vinyl with a rock chip laminate on top for added durability.”
