THE NBM SHOW Cancels Indy and Richmond Events, More Online Events Planned

THE NBM SHOW announces the cancelation of its graphics market events initially scheduled for Indianapolis, June 11-13, and Richmond, Virginia, July 17-18.

Indiana recently unveiled a five-phase re-opening plan that does not allow larger event gatherings until July 4. In Virginia, timing regarding the lifting of restrictions on gatherings and events is still uncertain.

“Though the nation is beginning to open again, it’s almost impossible to predict what conditions will be like two or even three months from now. Therefore, we made the difficult decision to cancel our events in Indianapolis and Richmond in the interest of our attendees and exhibitor partners,” says Lori Farstad, vice president audience and events for National Business Media, producers of THE NBM SHOW. “In the meantime, we’re providing a new series of focused online events: THE NBM SHOW Breakaway Sessions.”

The first event, Session #1: Let’s Get Back to Business! takes place Wednesday, May 20. Registration is open and free for the event, which includes a full slate of exhibitors with interactive booths, video presentations with live chat, and a kick-off panel discussion with industry leaders addressing a variety of topics of particular relevance to shops in the graphics market.

Session #2: Looking for New Opportunities? START HERE! is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24. The focus of Session #2 will be on exploring and finding new revenue and profit opportunities in related market segments, whether it’s apparel decorating, signage, printing, or awards and personalization. Registration for Session #2 opens on May 21.

THE NBM SHOW plans more Breakaway Sessions geared toward specific market segments for the remainder of 2020.
