Esko Announces Sales Agreement with Konica Minolta Canada

Ghent, Belgium-based Esko, a maker of finishing equipment and developer of workflow software, announces a sales partnership with Konica Minolta Canada to serve the Canadian wide-format print market.

Konica Minolta Canada is establishing a new demonstration center in Calgary, alongside its existing facilities in Toronto and Montreal, at which it will sell the Esko Kongsberg range of digital cutting tables and associated workflow software tools designed for wide-format printing.

“With Konica Minolta Canada as our partner, we are opening our total coverage area and securing over 400 new associates to actively work with us in the wide format business,” says Mark Rand, channel manager, digital finishing, at Esko. “Konica Minolta Canada has extensive demonstration center commitments enabling us to sell to and service Esko and Konica Minolta Canada wide format customers from coast to coast. It’s a great result for both companies and all of our customers.”

Esko is targeting Canada as a potential high-growth market for the company.

“We see a huge growth potential in the wide format business in Canada and the Kongsberg tables and software will be an excellent complement to the Konica Minolta Canada solutions,” says Brad Leonard, vice president of sales, digital finishing at Esko. “We look forward to building a strong market presence, with our joint solutions, in Canada.”
