Durst, a manufacturer of advanced digital printing and production technologies, announced the winners of the first RSC Label Masters Awards at its Label & Packaging Virtual Digital Day, which provided insights on the Tau RSC platform, printing solutions, ink systems, software, and developments.

Selected entries from the program will become a part of the Customer Experience Center at its headquarters in Brixen, Italy.

Australia’s R. Wagner Prestige Labels won the RSC combination print category for its TRUCE Wine of Australia label. China’s Shandong Golden Realm Industrial Company was runner-up and LabelPrint OÜ, of  Estonia, came in third.

Shanghai Yingcai Printing Co Ltd won the 100% RSC print category for its Qing Ping Yue entry. The runner-up was LabelPrint OÜ, with Pyrotec of South Africa in third place.

Helmuth Munter, Durst, says the company challenged its customers to take part in the Durst RSC Label Masters Awards, and “they were all truly inspiring, making it a difficult task for the judges to choose the winners.”

Contest judges included:

  • Christian Ring and Bernhard Zölch, Die Guten Agenten
  • Mike Fairley, Labels & Labelling
  • Vladimir Tyulpin, Avery Dennison
  • Matthew Burton, ABG Graphic International Ltd
  • Martin Leitner, Helmuth Munter, Siegfried Lanzinger, and Manuel Gruber, Durst

In conjunction with Durst US, the stream will broadcast again on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. ET. Participants can ask questions in a live Q&A session.
