Davis-Standard Hosts Webinar on Paint Protection Film

Davis-Standard, a provider of polymer-processing solutions for a variety of industries including automotive and consumer products, opens registration for an Aug. 27 webinar titled Resin and Machinery Design Considerations for Paint Protection Film (PPF).

The webinar takes place at 10 a.m. ET and covers TPU resins and machinery design elements that support the processing of PPF products. The 45-minute session dives into a variety of topics including an introduction to the PPF market and end-use applications, machinery layout and key elements of a TPU film line (base for PPF), and the machinery format and integral components of a PPF single station two-pass line.

Additionally, attendees can expect a presentation from Lubrizol on TPU resins.

The host for the session is Todd Gilbert, the district sales manager, extrusion and liquid coating, for Davis-Standard. The guest speaker from Lubrizol is Peter Kirk, the global strategic marketing manager, surface protection segment.
