Dataflow Inc., a New York-based printing company, announces the acquisition of Gnomon Copy of Ithaca, New York. Gnomon Copy has been a part of the Ithaca printing scene for more than 40 years and offers a broad range of print products with a focus on small-format color printing.

According to the companies, they plan to expand Gnomon Copy’s offerings even further, adding more large-format products and services to its list of current offerings and improving their digital capabilities to allow for easy online ordering. Gnomon Copy will retain its name but will move down the street into Dataflow’s location at 306 S. Meadow St.

“When the opportunity presented itself, acquiring Gnomon Copy was an easy decision,” says Dan Zimmerman, president and CEO of Dataflow. “Gnomon has been a well-respected company in our industry for years. We share similar cultures, business practices, and service-based values, and so I expect this transition to be an easy one.”

According to Zimmerman, Dataflow intends to retain all staff members of the newly acquired company and Gnomon’s previous owner, Ed Enstine, will remain involved as well.

“Adding Gnomon means we’ll be better able to serve our clients,” comments Steve Cheek, Dataflow’s chief commerce officer. “It’s a win for everyone. We’ve improved our coverage, and Gnomon’s clients get access to more products and, most importantly, easy, reliable online ordering services.”
