Crystal D, a supplier of corporate awards and gifts, announces it has purchased a new building in St. Paul, Minnesota to initially serve as additional warehouse space and also for future growth plans.

The new 40,000-square-foot building will allow the company to house all inventory in one location and expand its production and shipping areas to accommodate more orders.

“We are excited for the additional space. It’s allowing us to increase our inventory and double our production capacity,” says Kari Hurtis, VP of operations.

According to the company, Crystal D’s growth has increased over the past several years, and the expansion comes at a time when inventory is important to the level of service that is provided to its customers. The company says it is currently in the process of moving that inventory to the new building from their current location and two additional off-site warehouses — doubling its inventory space.

“This expansion is just one of many planned steps towards our five-year growth initiatives. It will allow us to remain nimble during times of transition as we continue to grow and prepare for future acquisitions,” says Chuck Dahlgren, president. “Most importantly it allows our Memory Makers to continue to keep our high standards of service and deliver on the promise of fast production.”
