Charles River Apparel welcomes new talent

Brett Long, Jaimee Benson & Tracy Royster join the company in key sales roles.

Charles River Apparel announced the addition of three talented professionals to its crew, strengthening its commitment to customer service and strategic growth. Joining the company are Brett Long, Jaimee Benson, and Tracy Royster, who will bring their extensive expertise and passion to key sales roles.

“As we continue to grow and expand our presence in the market, it’s essential to add the right people to our sales organization,” said Adam Heaslewood, chief revenue officer of Charles River Apparel. “Brett, Jaimee, and Tracy each bring unique skills and experiences that align perfectly with our company’s values and strategic goals. We’re excited to welcome them to the Charles River Apparel crew.”

Brett Long: National account manager

Brett Long joins Charles River Apparel as the national account manager, bringing 19 years of industry experience, including roles at Hirsch, Goldstar, and The Magnet Group. He’s known for his strategic approach to key account management and his leadership in the industry, having served on the RAC Board and as the former president of PPAW.

“Brett’s deep understanding of the promotional products industry and his proven track record in national account management will be invaluable as we continue to expand our reach,” said Heaslewood. “We’re looking forward to seeing the impact he’ll make at Charles River Apparel in this critical role.”

A dedicated Green Bay Packers fan, Long lives in the Milwaukee suburbs with his fiancé Jena, their cockapoo Eddie, and his two children, Nolan and Lauren. He enjoys traveling, concerts, and cheering on his favorite team.

Jaimee Benson: Business development representative, New England

Jaimee Benson joins Charles River Apparel in a newly created role as the business development representative for New England, with a focus on growing the resort and destination markets. She brings valuable experience in operations, sales, and retail strategy, having previously worked at Sara Campbell, where she doubled sales at the Watch Hill location and advanced into leadership roles. Benson also managed the largest book of business at Citizens Bank, earning recognition for her sales achievements.

“We are excited to have Jaimee’s dynamic energy and strategic approach on our team,” said Heaslewood. “Her extensive experience in both sales and operations makes her a perfect fit to drive growth in the resort and destination markets.”

Outside of work, Benson runs a wedding photography business and enjoys sewing, baking, and spending time on Nantucket with her partner and puppy, Peaches.

Tracy Royster: Outside sales territory manager, Carolinas

Tracy Royster

Tracy Royster joins as the outside sales territory manager for North Carolina and South Carolina, bringing extensive apparel industry experience. She has a background in district management and sales for multiple designer brands and most recently worked at Luxottica, managing sales across diverse retail channels.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tracy to our crew,” said Heaslewood. “Her extensive experience in the apparel industry, combined with her drive, personality, and professionalism, makes her an ideal representative for the Carolinas territory.”

Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Royster now resides in Charlotte, with her husband, son Cooper, and their dog Harper. Her family enjoys traveling and visiting MLB parks across the U.S.
