Charles River Apparel has hired two new sales representatives to join its national sales team: Michael Galati and John Bates.

Galati joins as the direct sales representative for Western Pennsylvania and Ohio territories, while Bates joins as a multi-line sales representative for Michigan.

Galati has over a decade’s worth of experience in the advertising specialty industry, working on the wholesale and distributor sides of the industry. He’s covered multiple state territories, including the Southeast, Northeast, and Midwest.

Bates brings over two decades of experience working in the promotional products industry. He’s worked closely with corporate and team dealers throughout the years on both the supplier and distributor side.

According to the company, the new recruits exemplify Charles River Apparel’s initiative to provide customers with more support than ever before.

“Michael and John’s experience will help customers exponentially,” said Sharon Steed, director of sales. “Their experience on different sides of the industry has broadened their perspective to advise customers with tailored apparel solutions. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome them to our team.”

Galati and Bates formally joined the team at Charles River Apparel’s annual sales meeting. Together, they bonded with Charles River Apparel’s national sales team through educational sessions, team-building activities, and one-on-one time with therapy dogs, courtesy of the Pets & People Foundation.

“Our team is incredibly hardworking and successful,” said Steed. “We wanted to reward them with a couple of days of education, relaxation, and collaboration so we can head into Q4 stronger than ever.”
