FREDERICKTOWN, Mo.-Cap America supports the Mineral Area College (MAC) Foundation with a recent donation. The company provided the organization with a $15,000 check.

The MAC Foundation says it plans to use the donation towards its Enhancement Grant. The grant provides $3 for every $1 match from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The combined contributions ultimately go towards the purchase of $60,000 in training equipment for MAC students in numerous departments, says Cap America. Employees and executives from the company, including president and COO Mark Gammon, knit manager Jon Page, and Cory Cissell, national sales manager at Cap America, presented the check to the organization.

The donation comes as the latest step by the company to contribute to local and regional causes. In March 2019, Cap America donated more than 10,000 caps to the Fredericktown United Methodist Church for its annual coat drive.
