FREDERICKTOWN, Mo.-Cap America promotes John Cooper to chief information officer. Cooper holds a 25-year tenure at the company.

In his new role, Cooper reports to chief financial officer Trae Hastings. His responsibilities include providing leadership, management, and guidance to the company’s senior leadership on all technology strategy matters, as well as overseeing technology partnerships.

“Information Technology is a large part of driving business growth and innovation,” says Hastings. “John’s leadership and experience have been critical to maintaining the information technology capabilities we need to fulfill our goals.”

Cooper comments it is “exciting to be a part of the technology strategy to deliver value across the organization,” and that he looks forward to what the future holds.

“John will be instrumental in the significant amount of complex change underway as we transform our business for the future,” says  Mark Gammon, president and chief operating officer of Cap America. “He is a valuable addition to our executive leadership team.”
