Eric Winkler's Amsterdam shop is continuing the traditions of old when it comes to sign making and graphics applications.
This video comes to us all the way from Amsterdam, where Eric Winkler owns a shop called Schitterend Glass Art and Gilding (“Schitterend,” in Dutch, means “beautiful.”) Born in 1972, Winkler obviously has a taste for the old ways of sign making and here, demonstrates how he crafts an elaborate 3D wooden sign using various techniques, including sandblasting, handpainting, gilding and gluechipping.
