Victor Printing Celebrates 100 Years and Four Generations of Family Ownership
100 years after its founding, there's very few types of printing that Victor Printing doesn't do.
Sharon, Pennsylvania-based Victor Printing announces that it is celebrating 100 years in business this year.
The company is now on its fourth generation of family ownership, which is how the company started in 1919.
William Victor Richards, the company’s founder, started in the printing industry in the basement of his parents’ home, after he had returned home from World War I. Today, his grandsons, Bill and Terry Richards, are now in charge of the business.
“When my grandfather founded the company, I don’t think he had any inclination that 100 years later there would be four generations of Richards working for the company,” says co-owner Terry Richards. “I’ve personally had the pleasure of working here for over 40 years, and am very proud of the progress we’ve made.”
The company has kept up with changes in technology over the years, he says, and today they print everything from signs and posters to vehicle wraps and wedding invitations.
