Upcoming Online Educational Session Focuses on Wraps and Vinyl
WRAPSTECH: The Science of Wraps takes a deep dive into wraps and vinyl applications on Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET. This is the fourth online event in the series of THE NBM SHOW Breakaway Sessions that have delivered timely, relevant and valuable information to graphics shops across North America.
Session #4 will explore vinyl applications, wide-format printing, inks, lamination, surface prep, maintenance, tools, and installation to help ensure durable, color-fast solutions for all surfaces and climates.
While vehicle wraps will be front and center, Session #4 will explore the ins and outs of all types of vinyl wraps, from walls and windows to floors and any odd items that can be wrapped.
Get access to expert advice, tips, and how-tos that will elevate your wraps game, and for those interested in adding wraps to their repertoire, the knowledge base needed to begin exploring this segment of the wide-format printing market.
In addition to various online educational video presentations with live chat, Session #4 kicks off at 10 a.m. with a panel discussion, An A-Z Vinyl Exploration. Panelists include Justin Pate, Justin Pate Productions Inc.; Charity Jackson, Visual Horizon Custom Signs; John Duever, Vinyl Images and JDINC; Adam Sumner, WRAPIX; Mike Zick, Mike Zick Installations Inc.; and Chad Parrish, Graphiti Wraps.
The panel will cover the science of films and laminates, providing a better understanding of why some applications fail due to specific conditions, why some products are better suited than others depending on climate and other environmental factors, and tips and tricks of the trade.
