Trotec Materials Now Available on Amazon

Plymouth, Michigan-based laser engraving and cutting equipment maker Trotec Laser is now offering products from its materials line on Amazon. The company’s website remains the most comprehensive source for purchasing Trotec materials, according to a press release; however, customers now have the additional purchasing option.

Items from the materials line, which launched in February 2017, including materials required for signage, illuminated displays, print-and-cut applications, and more are now available for purchase on Amazon.

“Amazon is the largest online retailer in the world and enjoys an excellent consumer reputation; they will rent you a digital store-front for a very low monthly rate with no upfront investment fees,” says Meredith Newman, director of marketing and consumables. “After two years in the consumables business, we finally decided to take our own advice.”

Newman explains that the benefits of selling on Amazon are two-fold: It’s a way to stay connected and visible across the industry, and a way to provide a new convenience to a diverse and growing customer base.

“We want to build relationships across the industry,” Newman says. “Not just with our customers, but also with entrepreneurs and individuals from a number of different markets who may not yet be familiar with laser processing.”
