Switzerland’s swissQprint Announces the Winner of its Creative Challenge
The contest is meant to show off both the creativity of its customers and the versatility of its printers.
Switzerland-based large-format printer manufacturer swissQprint announces the winner of its 2019 Creative Challenge.
During the second half of last year, the company asked its customers to submit their “most original, complex, intriguing and persuasive objects to have emerged from a swissQprint machine.”
The first-place winner was Austria’s Haas Webetechnik, which brought together different printing techniques into one finished piece. The extra materials used give the acrylic glass piece a 3D effect.
The second-place finisher was another Austrian company, Erwin Hartl Ges.m.b.H. The structure panel made of metal features various effects and what the company calls “random looking but precisely positioned splotches of printed paint.” Like the first-place winner, this piece was printed on a Nyala 3.
The third-place finisher was the Australian company raunjak intermedias gmbh. The winning entry was a promotional box for a manufacturer called Ideoopack. The judges applauded the item for “presenting all the possibilities of UV printing.
That item was printed on the company’s Onyx 3 printer.
The other winning entries can be found in the news section of the company’s website.
