Start Off with the Right Image for Sandcarving
The image format matters for photoresist production.
For photoresist production, you can choose bitmap images, even though vector images are better quality. You can’t cheat by using a lower resolution image, importing it into Photoshop, and then increasing the resolution – it doesn’t work that way. Once you have the design selected and sized, you need to print it out. For all water washout materials, keep in mind that the black areas are the ones to be blasted.
