signageOS Announces Elo Integration for Digital Signage
Any of Elo's devices will work seamlessly with signageOS's cloud-based software.
San Francisco-based signageOS, makers of a software platform that manages and delivers digital signage content, announces the first integration of displays made by Milpitas, California-based Elo, makers of touchscreens used in the digital signage and point-of-sale applications. ELO’s embedded, Android-based displays are now fully compatible with the signageOS supported devices list.
The companies says that Elo offers multiple lines of embedded Android displays for digital signage, and that the company is one of the only major suppliers with displays running on newer versions of Android like Nougat 7.1.
“We were excited to work with ELO displays because of their incorporation of
newer versions of Android into their touchscreen display lines,” says Eugen Pechanec, senior Android developer for signageOS. “With each native integration we have to account for platform specifications but overall, we were very impressed with the performance and security of this integration.”
