SGP Secures New Patron, Announces Recertifications
The nonprofit announces one new gold patron and two silver patrons who have renewed their financial commitments.
The Sayville, New York-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, a nonprofit organization that provides sustainability certification in the graphics communication industry, announces a new patron at the gold level: the Pawtucket, Rhode Island-based Cooley Group, a manufacturer of products for a variety of industries, including the commercial graphics and signage markets.
The SGP says it relies on its patrons to help support its mission of sustainability and to help keep costs low for print facilities that want to earn SGP certification.
Renewing as silver-level patrons are Lake Forest, Illinois-based Hexacomb, a manufacturer of honeycomb packaging materials; Flemington, New Jersey-based Integrity Recycling and Waste Solutions, a global recycling company; and Chesapeake, Virginia-based Yupo Corp. America, a manufacturer of synthetic substrates.
SGP also announces that three print shops have applied for and earned recertification: Great Big Pictures in Madison, Wisconsin; the John Roberts Co. in Minneapolis; and Specialty Printing in East Windsor, Connecticut.
