SGP Partners on Green Sports Alliance Summit
The SGP supports sustainable printing practices after every stage of the industry, from sourcing raw materials to reusing or recycling materials once they're used up.
The Sayville, New York-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, a nonprofit organization that provides sustainability certification in the graphics communication industry, announces its partnership with the Portland, Oregon-based Green Sports Alliance (GSA) for its 2019 summit, which is June 19-20 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
According to the SGP, the annual GSA Summit is the largest and most influential gathering to unite sustainability around the sports community. The summit brings together hundreds of industry stakeholders to learn and share better practices and the latest innovations in greening operations, advancing the supply chain and engaging fans.
The two-day summit offers an opportunity to network with sports, sustainability, and brand professionals in a collaborative setting to engage in problem-solving and skill-building workshops to reduce impacts. With three keynote speakers ranging from athletes to team leaders and different sponsors, attendees will learn how to transform the supply chain, and how to engage fans and surrounding communities.
SGP advocates best practices and innovation among print community stakeholders, aligning the printing industry and its customers in the pursuit of a more accountable sustainable supply chain.
