SGP Announces Full Lineup of Speakers for Upcoming Community Day
Panel discussions will feature experts on specific aspects of the printing industry and where sustainability comes into play in each of them.
The Sayville, New York-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, a nonprofit organization that provides sustainability certification in the graphics communication industry, announces the final lineup of speakers for its upcoming Community Day Wednesday, Nov. 14, in Cincinatti.
Already announced was keynote Ryan Mooney-Bullock, executive director of Cincinnati’s Green Umbrella Regional Sustainability Alliance. The focus of his speech will be the theme of this year’s event, “The State of Sustainability.”
Mooney-Bullock’s keynote speech will be followed by a series of panel discussions centered on individual aspects of the printing industry.
In-store Retail: Libra Balian, retail marketing consultant/chairwoman, SGP Brand Leader Committee; and Rosalyn Bandy, environmental director, Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute
Plastics & Packaging: David McLain, market development manager, Printpack; and Ashley Hood-Morley, director of sustainability for the Plastics Industry Association
Textiles: Paul Glynn, manager of operations and services for Designtex; and Mike Compton, product marketing manager for Top Value Fabrics
Events & Building Graphics: Joe Stapley, national accounts manager for Noble Environmental Technologies; and Marci Kinter, vice president, government and business information for SGIA
The day’s events will conclude with a gala networking dinner that night that all attendees are invited to attend.
Now in its 10th year of operation, SGP offers a whole-facility certification program for the print communication industry in North America.
