Set Up Your Fume Extractor for Success
Be aware of these factors during install
Fume extractors work best when the hose connecting it to the laser is kept short. A long hose creates resistance to airflow, which makes the fume extractor work harder or creates a condition where the fume extractor simply cannot pull enough air from the laser to be effective. Keep the fume extractor as close to the laser as possible. Make sure the user interface is visible and that the exhaust port on the fume extractor is not blocked by furniture or a wall. Filters need to be changed too, so put the extractor in a place where you can easily access the filters.
