Report: Worldwide Large-Format Printer Shipments Down in Q2
North America and Asia saw a significant decline in the recent quarter, the report says.
Framingham, Massachusetts-based technology analysis firm IDC has released its quarterly report on large-format printer sales around the globe, and it says that large-format printer shipments declined in the second quarter.
The report states that a modest increase in shipments in eastern Europe was offset by what the agency called “significant declines” in North America and the Asia/Pacific region.
The report says Japan was basically flat compared with the first half of 2018, while central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the Latin American regions all showed modest declines.
