Report: Prominent Salt Lake City Sign to be Replaced
This sign was not an original part of the building, but has stood as a beacon over Salt Lake City for some six decades.
According to news outlet KSL Broadcasting in Salt Lake City, a sign that has stood atop a railroad depot for some six decades has fallen so far into disrepair that it must be replaced.
The sign, marking the depot to the historic Denver and Rio Grande Depot, was erected in the late 1950s and stood as a beacon atop the building that is rich in Utah history.
KSL’s Carter Williams has the story of the sign and the historic building under it. Click here for the story.
