Principal Lighting Group and Japan’s Nichia Corp. Enter Into Business Agreement

Principal Lighting Group LLC, the parent company of San Angelo, Texas-based LED signage module manufacturer Principal LED, announces it is entering into a mutual business agreement with Japan-based Nichia Corp., which manufacturers a variety of energy-related products, including LEDs.

“This coincides with (Principal’s) future strategic roadmap which includes a strong commitment to intellectual property and to further enhance quality assurance as well as monitor LED lamp sources,” writes Principal Lighting Group in its announcement of the deal. “PLG is proud to be aligned with Nichia who has best-in-class LEDs, coupled with a strong patent portfolio. While the terms of the agreement are confidential, both parties are pleased to be working together.”
