Preparing to Customize Wood with a UV Printer
The wood may or may not need some extra prepping depending on the substrate
The wood may need to be prepped, but it depends on the product you are printing on with a UV printer. Are you printing to raw wood substrates or wood that has been stained or finished with polyurethane?
Remember, you are printing to the coating or top surface of the material so some prep may be needed. Simple tests can be performed to test for white opacity, adhesion, and quality.
