CAMPOS, Portugal-TINTEX, a Portuguese textile company driven by responsible innovation, partners with Drip By Drip in a water-saving initiative for textile production. The project, called The Blue Lab, aims to develop alternative textile solutions with the lowest possible water footprint, in collaboration with a network of participants.

Key players putting their efforts and products into the initiative include Tintex, Blue Ben, Lenzing, and Tearfil. Others include Montebelo, who works with brands, organizations, and manufacturers to create responsible fashion products, and Agroho, who works for marginalized communities in Bangladesh.

Tintex will supply the fabrics, Blue Ben will create the garments, Lenzing will supply the fibers, and Tearfil will provide yarn for the project.

The fabric collection includes TENCEL lyocell, modal, hemp and ROICA V550, a sustainable fiber with the Hohenstein Environment Compatibility Certificate.

Ten percent of all Blue Lab fabric purchases go to wastewater projects in Bangladesh.
