PolyOne Corporation Acquires Mesa Industries

PolyOne Corporation announces the acquisition of Mesa Industries, a producer of color and additive materials with offices in Arizona and Arkansas. The privately-owned company produces both solid and liquid colorant technologies.

“Our color and additives offerings continue to expand, and we’re very excited that Mesa is the latest addition to our leading portfolio of solutions,” says Robert M. Patterson, CEO of PolyOne Corporation.

Mesa marks the fourth acquisition of a specialty color producer by PolyOne in the last eight months. Patterson adds that this acquisition allows the organization to “grow, leverage our service and innovation expertise, and collaborate across all our PolyOne businesses.”

The corporation also names Rutland Holding Company as a recently acquired color producer. In early June, PolyOne acquired the North Carolina-based company known for its customized formulations for screen-printing applications.
