OSRAM Announces 2018 Industry Awards
The company says its products picked up a total of seven prestigious awards in 2018.
Wilmington, Massachusetts-based lighting technology company OSRAM announces some industry awards it was given for its products.
The company says it was a 2018 winner of Sapphire Award, which the company says are the first in the lighting industry to focus on the LED-based solid-state lighting market from an enabling-technology and elegance-of-design perspective. Independent judges are chosen from industry and consultancy roles and products are ranked based on their unique technology or application, innovation, ease of use, efficiency, reliability, and contribution to profitability. The staff of LEDs Magazine also plays a supporting role in the judging of the submitted products.
OSRAM’S Optotronic Programmable LED Emergency Driver was awarded the 2018 Sapphire Award in the “Constant Current LED Drivers” category.
The company also picked up six awards in the annual ADEX Awards contest. Commissioned annually by Design Journal, the ADEX Awards contest is one of the largest and most prestigious industry recognition programs for design excellence and product innovation in the architecture and design industry, according to the company.
In all, the company won six platinum awards for its OPTOTRONIC Programmable Emergency LED Driver; its OPTOTRONIC Programmable LED Driver with DEXAL Technology; its LINEARlight FLEX Diffuse; its Connected Lighting Module with DEXAL Technology; its ENCELIUM EDGE Standalone Wireless Light Management System; and its Wireless Site Lighting Control Module (WSLC).
