OKI Data Australia Appoints New Australian Managing Director
Tony Grima originally joined the company in 2018 in sales and has worked his way up through the ranks.
OKI Data Australia, that continent’s division of the Tokyo-based printer manufacturer, announces the appointment of Tony Grima as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney, Grima will be responsible for propelling the company’s sales, marketing, account management, services and partner channel strategy, as well as ensuring overall customer experience success. Grima originally joined OKI Data Australia in 2018 as the sales director and later moved into the role of general manager for sales and marketing.
Prior to that, Grima was the Australia general manager of Fuji Xerox Printers, where he led the implementation of a new channel partner program, reconfigured the company’s sales pipeline and improved service levels.
“OKI Data Corporation is a world-leading manufacturer of business printers and multifunction devices,” says Grima. “I am honored to be appointed as the new managing director for the ANZ region. We have just celebrated our 10-year anniversary in December last year, and I am looking forward to working with our talented team and partners as the managing director in 2020.”
Grima will be replacing Alex Kawamura, who was appointed managing director for OKI Data Australia in October 2017. Kawamura’s new role will involve leading the product development and business division at company headquarters in Japan.
