News From the Field: 3M Continuing Rapid Growth in the Philippines
When the company first opened a facility on the island in 2016 it had fewer than two dozen employees. It will be at 800 there by the end of the year.
St. Paul, Minnesota-based 3M says it will be expanding in the Philippines, whether or not that country decides to offer it tax incentives to do so.
That’s according to a report by ABS-CBN, which covers news for that island nation.
The network reports that 3M first opened in the Philippines in 2016 with fewer than two dozen employees. It has been rapidly growing since and expects to be at 800 by the end of this year.
