Shawnee, Kansas-based Nazdar Ink Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of UV-cureable, water-based and solvent-based wide-format digital inkjet, screen-printing and flexographic inks, announces the appointment of Woodrow Williams III as vice president of global manufacturing.

In his new role, Williams oversees manufacturing operations and materials management for Nazdar’s global manufacturing locations in Shawnee and Stockport, United Kingdom. The company says Williams is also responsible for providing “strategic leadership and tactical direction to support quality assurance and continuous improvement.”

“We are excited to have Woodrow join Nazdar and look forward to the positive contributions he will make in our organization,” says Richard Bowles, president of Nazdar Ink Technologies.

Williams comes to the position with a 25-year career in the ink manufacturing sector, most recently serving as director of operations at a major ink manufacturer, overseeing nine regional service centers. In his most recent role, Williams streamlined business operations such as performance measurement, production schedules, budgets, strategic planning, environmental concerns, health and safety, and staff development, according to his new company.

Nazdar says Williams will work alongside Jim Davidson, vice president of operations, who will assist with his transition to the company.
