Mohawk Partners with Kernow to Distribute Cobalt Coating Technology

Cohoes, New York-based Mohawk Fine Papers Inc., a manufacturer of a variety of paper types that was founded in 1931, announces a new strategic partnership with UK-based Kernow Coatings Limited, a UK-based company that makes digital media coatings targeting a variety of industries and applications, including wide-format aqueous printers.
Under the agreement, Kernow’s proprietary Cobalt Coating Technology is now available exclusively in North America from Mohawk.
According to Kernow, its Cobalt Coating Technology for HP Indigo represents a new benchmark for HP Indigo synthetics print performance. The company says Cobalt “offers the next generation of durability and image quality specifically optimized for HP Indigo presses.”
