Madico Acquires Canadian Distributors
These two new locations now give Madico nine strategically located facilities throughout the United State and Canada.
Tampa Bay, Florida-based Madico, manufacturers of laminating and coating solutions and window films sold into a variety of industries, announces the opening of two new service centers that will offer factory direct distribution in Canada.
The company has purchased two Canadian distributors-Courage Distributing Inc. and Window Film Systems-and formed a new entity: Madico Canada.
Founded by brothers Todd and Trent Courage in 1993, Courage Distributing has long distributed window film, paint protection film and accessories and was inducted into the Window Film Hall of Fame in 2015, receiving the Award of Excellence for their dealer service and support as well as their philanthropic endeavors. All of its employees, including the two founding brothers, will be joining Madico Canada.
Window Film Systems celebrated its 40th year distributing and installing Madico window films in 2018. Owner Peter Yates will continue to serve the market in the employ of Madico Canada. The company is known throughout Canada as a leader in the decorative films market and has completed many notable architectural installations, according to its new parent company.
With the addition of the two new Canadian locations, Madico claims to be the only window film manufacturer to provide 100% factory direct service to all customers in North America, with a total of nine service centers strategically located throughout the U.S. and Canada.
