Switzerland-based large-format printer manufacturer swissQprint announces the establishment of a branch in Spain.
Along with the facility, it has established a new subsidiary: swissQprint Spain. Previously, swissQprint partnered with a company in that country, but now it’s taking over and says it intends to “develop the Spanish market more strongly from now on.”
The new company is based in Badalona, a city just northeast of Barcelona. Jorge Suberviola Freire, who has worked for swissQprint in the past, is the managing director. The company says the facility will carry all of its flatbed printer models-the Nyala, Impala and Oryx-and it will carry the company’s first roll-to-roll printer, the Karibu, after it launches in May of this year.
