Image Preparation for Sublimation

Understand what's necessary to achieve a proper print job.

These instructions should be clear and concise from the ink and paper supplier. You simply buy a sublimation printer and inks that have been proven many thousands of times over for other businesses and have excellent instructions. A well-known prominent supplier is key.

Images are usually sent to the printer as RGB images, 300 DPI – and the printer driver takes care of the rest to make sure the colors are adjusted for the transfer inks. Mirroring (flipping) the image is necessary, too, if the driver does not automatically do this for transfer printing.
