Idealliance Certifies 21 G7 Experts at Recent Training Near Minneapolis
Idealliance hosts G7 training sessions at print houses around the world, and more are being added all the time.
The Alexandria, Virginia-based International Digital Enterprise Alliance, better known as Idealliance, announces it has awarded G7 System Certification to 21 G7 Experts at a recent training session at the headquarters of IWCO Direct, a print house specializing in direct marketing that is located in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
According to the nonprofit, attendees to the training session came from across North America, receiving live print production demos and hands-on implementation of G7 standards.
G7 is Idealliance’s global industry-leading set of specifications for achieving gray balance and is the driving force for achieving visual similarity across all print processes. The G7 methodology is designed to align all print technologies for visual consistency, process and quality control, and color workflow management. G7 specs are the same on any machine, using any print technology, anywhere in the world, according to Idealliance.
The 21 Idealliance certified and licensed G7 Experts and G7 Professionals in the Minnesota class included members of the print, packaging, and graphic communications supply chains as color management experts ranging from print service providers, prepress, color, and press technicians, operators, OEMs, and global brands.
