Idealliance Awards G7 Certification to Agfa Graphics’ System
Agfa's Asanti version 4 support the strict quality and performance demands necessary to earn G7 certification.
The Alexandria, Virginia-based International Digital Enterprise Alliance, better known as Idealliance, announces that the Agfa Graphics‘ Asanti version 4 production hub and workflow has been awarded G7 System Certification.
G7 System Certification is the global verification of a system’s ability to implement G7 and near-neutral-based print production for any print technology. Agfa’s Asanti system is a core piece of wide-format-based print workflows and gives wide-format users the capability to implement and drive G7 throughout their workflows.
Asanti version 4 aligns all devices throughout its workflow capabilities through the use of G7 and near-neutral for consistent output and streamlined process control regardless of print media, application, or print engine.
“AGFA has added another G7-based tool to its solutions for the graphic communication, printing, and packaging industries,” says Jordan Gorski, Idealliance’s vice president of global certification programs. “With the addition of Asanti version 4 to the list of globally recognized G7 Systems, Agfa Graphics is able to support the strict quality and performance demands for the wide-format industry.”
Agfa Graphics is a wide-format printer manufacturer based in Belgium but with U.S. operations in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.
